Virtual Youth meets.

The sudden lockdown in March 2020 pushed us to explore ways to keep connected and pursue our creative activities. Virtual meets was an immediate solution, making it a platform for wider possibilities.

Our Youths are impressive! They made our virtual experience interesting by their displays, discussions and performances during all the zoom meets. Excerpts can be found on the respective links:

Environmental day- We are thankful to Aditi Tiwari and Ketki Bendre for co-organiing the activities

Earth-day 2021, - We are thankful to Beth Watkins from Spurlock Museum for cohosting the event

Earthday 2020- We are thankful to 4-H Youth development- UofI extension for hosting this event, to Prairie Monk and Sarah Livesay from Grand Prairie Frainds for being our guest speakers.

Environmental week 2021

‘Environmental Day 2021’ STEAM week was celebrated with SOI group. It was interesting to see active involvement of our amazing youth participants- Biney and Danial Lawrence, Krish Sundareswar, Gracelyn and Zach Verghese, Anvi Bendre, Lekha, Abir, Khushboo Mehta.

The Virtual summer meets of 2020 covered variety of STEAM topics like DIY play dough, Making Sundial with simple materials, Hydroponic gardening, Puppet making from reused papers, Book reading, Salad making, music playing, etc. Huge Thanks to all the volunteer Moms and Youth leaders : - Ketki and Anvi Bendre, Shravani and Awanti Khakker, Rakshita and Ishani Chaudhari, Amruta and Jiya Borgavkar, Om and Neha Dhekne, Suchita Potale, Arnav and Prajakta Ambre, Kanchan Bulbule, Kuldeepa and Khushboo Mehta, for leading their proposed activity.
